As the Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs for Scientific, Regulatory & Medical Affairs in North America, Dalal Murgai provides strategic leadership for Regulatory Operations across the region. She serves as an executive sponsor to biotech clients, shaping IND‑enabling strategy, pragmatic study design, and key regulatory interactions that advance programs from first‑in‑human studies through pivotal development.
Dalal Murgai is a seasoned regulatory and quality leader with more than 30 years of experience guiding drug development programs across the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical sectors. Her expertise spans GLP, GCP, and GMP compliance; regulatory submissions; quality management systems; and operational leadership supporting programs from early research through late‑phase development.
Her background includes early development of gene therapies, recombinant biologics, and small‑molecule therapeutics, as well as late‑stage programs across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.
Before joining Avance Clinical, Dalal served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at LumaBridge. She previously co‑founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of GXP Quality Systems (GXPQS), where she led operations and advised biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations on quality management systems. Earlier in her career, she founded Regulatory Outsource Consulting, supporting clients ranging from virtual startups to global pharmaceutical companies, academic centers, and CROs.
Dalal’s scientific foundation includes early research roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center and contributions to multiple biotechnology startups, where she supported the progression of emerging technologies and therapeutic programs.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and has been an active member of DIA, RAPS, SQA, and PDA. Dalal has served on numerous advisory panels focused on biotechnology career development, regulatory best practices, and quality systems implementation.
