Robert (Bob) Ezzell

Dr Robert (Bob) Ezzell is the Director of Regulatory Operations at Avance Clinical, where he leads the Regulatory Operations team across the North American region. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Bob brings 16 years of experience in regulatory affairs, spanning roles at global pharmaceutical companies, emerging biotech, and startups. His career includes positions at Sanofi and Takeda, complemented by experience in smaller biotech organizations, following earlier academic research roles at Harvard Medical School and MIT. Trained as a cell and molecular biologist, Bob has extensive regulatory expertise across the development of drugs, biologics, diagnostics, and drug–delivery combination products. His work has supported programs targeting a wide range of therapeutic areas, including diabetes, cancer, chronic liver disease, and mental health disorders.
