Tim Schuckman

Chief Commercial Officer

Tim Schuckman is Avance Clinical’s first Chief Commercial Officer, a newly created role reflecting the company’s continued growth and expanding global presence for biotech sponsors. Reporting to CEO Mark Harvill and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, Tim leads Avance Clinical’s commercial strategy, business development and proposals functions, working closely across the business to align commercial priorities with client needs, operational capability and the company’s strategic growth plans across Australia, Asia, North America and Europe.

Tim brings more than a decade of senior commercial leadership in clinical research, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer at WCG Clinical. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, strengthening client partnerships, and helping biotech sponsors accelerate their programs with confidence in order to help bring new treatments to patients.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing from Wittenberg University, where he also competed in varsity athletics. Outside of work, he is a father of three, and enjoys mentoring recent college graduates pursuing commercial careers in the industry.
